Thanks to CarnaLife Holo technology we are able to instead of using imagination, visualize the actual image of the conditions we face in 3D. We can observe the tumor’s topography from all angles. Of course, I see how this technology should be used in future surgery, including pediatrics, especially pediatric oncology and in solid tumor surgery.

At NEO Hospital, innovative Carna Life Holo technology is used to perform oncologic treatments for unresectable primary liver tumors and metastatic tumors. CarnaLife Holo allows the surgeon to accurately image and locate lesions, which affects the safety of the procedure, the ability to perform it in a short amount of time, and to perform a targeted procedure. NEO Hospital is also using CarnaLife Holo’s 3D visualization of imaging medical data for a research and development project in gynecologic oncology. Within the project, CarnaLife Holo supports treatment planning. The hologram makes visible the complex spatial relationships between anatomical structures, which is extremely important when planning oncology treatments. The innovative CarnaLife System is also used by the Obesity Clinic at NEO Hospital to record medical data for efficient collection and analysis. The measurements collected and analyzed by CarnaLife System can be used by metabolic surgery specialists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, diabetologists, and physicians of other specialties. CarnaLife Holo combines several advantages of new technologies. First of all it reatures augmented reality meaning that the person who is using this tool constantly remains in touch with rest of the team and has the insight into the patient’s current state. Another advantage is very high imaging quality. Unlike the raw images we got from CT scans, this enables us to different tissues and thus, we can read out patient’s anatomy faster. Most important, this technology does not bring in fear or distract the team or the patient, on the contrary, patients are enthusiastic about this solution especially knowing that the operator is gaining new tool serving to help cure their arrythmia.
